Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School (STS) is a premier, co-educational, independent day school that traces its roots and traditions back over 110 years. STS develops well-balanced students for a life of purpose by inspiring excellence in scholarship, leadership and character.

The School offers a rich and robust co-curricular program, a technology-rich environment and enrolls approximately 670 students in Kindergarten to Grade 12. In addition to a strong academic program, STS is the only independent school in Alberta to develop students’ global perspective through the International Baccalaureate Programme (PYP, MYP, and DP) and through membership in the Round Square international network of schools. Your referees will not be contacted without your prior consent. Please do not send letters of reference, evaluations and/or transcripts and please do not send any of your documents to us via SkyDrive.

2. Please indicate in your cover letter where you were first made aware of this position (eg: STS website, Education Canada, CAIS, Calgary Herald, Okotoks Western Wheel, word of mouth, etc.)

3. Please reference the position in the subject line. If you are applying for more than one position, a separate email application must be received for each.

4. A one-page Teaching Philosophy Statement is to be included with your application package if the position involves teaching.

5. If you are applying for a teaching position, you must complete the online assessment before submitting your application.

Teaching staff must be eligible for Alberta Teacher Certification.
