Gifts to the STS Annual Fund as well as other kinds of investments, improve the school’s building and grounds, augment academic and co-curricular programs and provide for financial aid through scholarship and bursaries. Contributing to this year’s annual fund gives Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School students the continued opportunity to learn surrounded by the most beautiful campus, the brightest peers and the best technology in Alberta.
This spirit of philanthropy is integral to the STS experience. Student-led fundraising activities are regular occurences at STS and parents volunteer daily to improve the educational experience for students. Our community of philantropic givers includes current and former parents as well as alumni, faculty and staff.
This year’s Head’s Initiatives focus on transforming our 160 acre campus into a vibrant outdoor classroom as well as continued support for scholarships. Many donors also choose to support a specific program area such as Outdoor Education, Athletics, Speech and Debate and Fine Arts.

You can get involved in the Board of Governors and several Board Committees, POSTS (the Parents’ Organization of Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School) or you can volunteer your time at some of our annual events including Career Day or Speech Day.
